On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Hilton Hotel in Nairobi for your overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. If you will arrive early and have enough time to visit different places in Nairobi where you can experience local life like testing local foods in local restaurants.
Have an early pre-breakfast game viewing drive at the Amboseli National Park. If the weather permits, the clouds will shear off, leaving you mesmerized by the majesty of Kilimanjaro and its gleaming snow-capped peaks. Today shall be spent exploring the Amboseli National Park on unlimited game drives. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Amboseli Oltukai Lodge.
You will have to start your trip as early as possible to trigger the beauty and wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and then move to other places around the park to experience the complete views. The Amboseli National Park is a place which you must visit and spend some time to feel nature and wildlife events. You can see the giant species of Africa such as baboons, giraffes, and wildebeests from the park. A Maasai village is also one of the best places to visit. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Amboseli Oltukai Lodge.
Depart Amboseli in the morning and drive via Nairobi to the floor of the Rift Valley with lunch at a stopover restaurant. In the afternoon have a boat ride at Lake Naivasha that takes you to Crescent Island for a walking safari. This is one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals there are no predators. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Depart from Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara National Reserve arriving there in time for lunch. The Masai Mara National Reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains and is known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. After lunch, explore the Mara late in the afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Mara Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. Masai Mara National Reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. After game viewing, have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner will be served and you will have your overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.
The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination for the next two days, a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewings in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard, and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch as you drive to Central Serengeti. The evening is free to rest. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park with packed lunch till late in the evening. Then drive back to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from Central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals stalk their prey. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
You will enjoy yet another morning game drive in Serengeti. Drive back to the lodge for breakfast and check out before starting your journey to Ngorongoro. We will arrive at our crater rim lodge for a warm welcome, check-in, and then lunch. On this afternoon, just relax and enjoy the breathtaking and spectacular views of the Ngorongoro scenery, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Note: A warm jacket or cardigan is highly recommended.
This morning we will drive and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game driving and exploration. The crater is 600m deep, 16km across, and 265sq km in area. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and game viewing, in what has been described as the eighth Wonder of the World. Many of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos can be seen grazing on the open grassland of the crater floor, surrounded by some of the 20,000 large animals that occupy the crater, including lion, cheetah, eland, zebra, and gazelle. Flamingoes, among other bird species, can often be seen feeding at Makat Soda Lake. In the afternoon, drive to your lodge for your overnight stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge.
Following your breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. There is a profusion of wildlife in this small national park and the fantastic bird-watching experience will certainly be rewarding to both a devoted and first-time bird watcher. It is among the few places on the African continent to see the tree-climbing lions that will be your main quest for the day. In addition, Manyar prides in a large flock of beautiful pink flamingoes near the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site. Later, drive back to Arusha and drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar in the evening, meet our representative, and go to Zanzibar Serena Hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, check out and we will drive away from Stone Town for Spice Plantation Tour. A detailed description is given about a variety of spices and their uses in cooking and cosmetics. The sheer number of spices produced and their incredible value for many ailments will fascinate visitors. Later in the afternoon, drive to Nungwi for dinner and your overnight stay at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. Note: This beautiful Resort is all inclusive!
Your days are spent relaxing at the beach, reading books and swimming. The lodge organizes activities like walking, diving, and fishing. You may want to book those activities directly with the lodge. All meals and your overnight stay will be at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort.
After breakfast, drop off at Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight to your next destination. NOTE: There are some international flights that fly from Zanzibar Airport to overseas. Our 4-wheel drive safari vehicles offer comfortable places to five people in the rear and one person in front with the driver. So we can take up to 6 people on a safari. If your group has more people we will schedule additional vehicles.
Balance payment can be done in either cash USD or credit card (Visa – MasterCard – American Express). With credit card payments, there is a 5 % surcharge. The best is still to bring cash in USD. You’ll get the best exchange rates for 50 and 100 USD notes. Also make sure not to bring USD notes older than 2013, as these are not accepted anymore in Tanzania.
Yes, for both Tanzania and Kenya, you can get a visa on arrival at the airport or at the Namanga border.
Once we agreed on a certain itinerary and the price, you will be asked to make a down payment to our bank account. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of this deposit, and we’ll send you a confirmation e-mail. We shall then also proceed to make the necessary reservations. The remaining balance is to be paid in cash upon arrival in Tanzania. If you would prefer not to travel with Cash money, you can also pay the balance in our bank account.
