This dream itinerary is specifically designed to follow the Great Migration at Masai Mara and at Serengeti. You will spend two days at Masai Mara and then move to northern Serengeti to see the herds from either park. Move to central Serengeti for magical big cat’s sightings and finish with a visit to Ngorongoro crater. DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
Upon arrival at the JKIA airport, our representative will be waiting for you for greetings and briefing. You will then be transferred to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 2: NAIROBI—MAASAI MARA
Depart for a journey south along the flour of the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the View Point for breathtaking views of the rift valley. You can take photos and buy souvenirs. Arrive at Maasai Mara game reserve, in time for lunch at your accommodation. Proceed for a game drive till twilight.

Day 3: Mara Full Day
Full day spent game viewing exploring the reserve in search of the Big 5. Masai Mara Game reserve is considered as the greatest wildlife reserve in Africa. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Lake Victoria
We leave the camp and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to
Tanzania boarder at Isebania/Sirari. Your driver from Tanzania will be waiting and you will drive south for the night in a quiet area on the shores of the immerse Lake Victoria. The surrounding countryside is home to many different tribes including the Kuria, Jita, Luo, and Taturu.You will enjoy your overnight stay ready for the next adventure tomorrow.

Day 5: Drive to Serengeti
The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination for the next two days, a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch as you drive to central of Serengeti. The evening is free to rest.

Day 6: Tracing the Migration
Today you will leave after breakfast and with lunch packed, you will drive as you follow the migrations paths depending with the location. We will spend the day following the great migration of about 1.5 million Wildebeests and 500,000 Zebras migrating through the Serengeti Ecosystem. Dangers are everywhere and packs of a lion, cheetah, and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike. Crocodiles in Serengeti river does no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing. Later in the early evening, you will drive to your camp for an overnight rest.

Day 7: Full Day Serengeti
Relax with a full day in the Serengeti with game drives – unequaled for its beauty and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. The huge herds of plains game such as wildebeest, zebra and antelope dominate the park while the attendant predators such as lion and cheetah are to be found amongst the many kopjes scattered across the plain. Its landscape varies from open grass plains in the south, savanna with scattered acacia trees in the center, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west.

Day 8: Serengeti - Ngorongoro
You will enjoy yet another morning game drive in Serengeti. Drive back to the camp for breakfast and check out before starting your journey to Ngorongoro. We arrive at our crater rim lodge to a warm welcome, check in and then lunch. This afternoon just relaxes and enjoy the breathtaking and spectacular views of the Ngorongoro scenery, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Dinner and overnight at your game lodge.
Note: a warm jacket or cardigan is highly recommended.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
This morning we drive and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game driving and exploration. The crater is 600m deep, 16km across and 265 sq km in area. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and game viewing, in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Many of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino can be seen grazing on the open grassland of the crater floor, surrounded by some of the 20,000 large animals that occupy the crater, including lion, cheetah, eland, zebra and gazelle. Flamingo, among other bird species, can often be seen feeding at Makat Soda Lake as well. Afternoon dive to your lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 10: Ngorongoro - Nairobi
