Overview
This 7-day, private camping safari takes you on a journey through Tanzania’s unrivaled wildlife destinations. Begin your adventure by exploring Tarangire mobs of elephants and the dotted baobab landscape, before moving on to encounter the spectacle of the Ngorongoro Crater floor, home to Africa’s Big 5. The sweeping plains of the Serengeti provide a backdrop for the tour’s grand finale, and game viewing is superb all year round with one of the best big cat’s sightings in all of Africa, and big chance to locate the great wildebeest migration.
Itinerary
Pick up from your Hotel in Arusha, then safari briefing and afterwards, we depart for Tarangire National Park. Your first experience of safari will be the thrilling game drive through the vastness of Tarangire National Park, arrive in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drives through the park. Later you will exit the park and go to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Nsya Campsite

After breakfast, game en route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Afterwards, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world – Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals, we enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Dinner and overnight at Nguchiro Campsite.

Full day game drives again in Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch till late evening. Then drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight. Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. After breakfast, a game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, until noon, where you will have another game drive to see the beauty of this great park. The afternoon after lunch game en route to Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner, and overnight at the Camp.

After breakfast, you will head out for an en-route game drive through the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves, offering you an uninterrupted game-viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite number of animals. You will spend the night at a lodge near the Crater Rim.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. There is a profusion of wildlife in this small national park, and the amazing bird-watching experience will certainly be rewarding to both a devotee and a first-time bird watcher. It is also among the few places on the African continent to see the tree-climbing lions, which will be your main quest for the day. Manyara, in addition, is proud of a large flock of beautiful pink flamingos found near the lake. You will have lunch at the picnic site. Later, drive back to Arusha.
