You leave your accommodation after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The banana, vegetable and coffee fields pass by as your guide heads for Arusha National Park, the least visited reserve on the northern circuit, but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to the northern circuit's best sighting of black and white colobus monkeys, Arusha National Park supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many antelope species, while the Momela Lakes offer great sightings of both lesser and greater flamingoes. On clear days, the park offers excellent views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru. You might wish to explore the bush on a walking safari and walk along the big game, or simply indulge yourself on a canoe safari on the Momela lakes.

You will spend a full day in the park, maximising our opportunities to spot the excellent range of animal and birdlife it has to offer. You will have time to enjoy your picnic, included as part of your day tour. At 17.00, we set off from the park to reach Arusha by 18:00 hours, and you will be dropped off at your accommodation or place of residence.
