In the months of November and December, the park is receiving short rains and the wildebeest migratory herd has moved fromthe hills up in the north down into the plains found in the south. The longer rains start in April all through to June and during this time the herd returns north. Because the animal’s movement totally depends on the yearly rainfall, the location of this herd may differ year after year however the good news is that your guide will be aware of their location.
