Day 1: Nyerere NP Formally Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast, then introduction from our staff you will be picked up from your hotel/Airport in Dar es Salaam drive to Selous game reserve which is almost (218.6 km) approximates 6 hours driving, arrive at Africa safari camp in time for lunch. Enjoy the evening game drive and overnight at Africa safari camp.

Day 2: Full Day Selous Game Reserve.
After breakfast in the morning with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch then proceed with the game drive until evening and overnight at the Africa safari camp.

Day 3: Full Day Selous Game Reserve.
Another full day game viewing with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch then proceed with the game drive until evening and overnight at the Africa safari camp.

Day 4: Selous Game Reserve - Mikumi National Park.
After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 5 hours driving, arrive late afternoon enjoy a game drive inside Mikumi park where you will be able to see a wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants and overnight at Mikumi wildlife lodge.

Day 5: Fullday Mikumi National Park.
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will eat a picnic lunch at midday and get the chance to see some of what you missed on the first day in the park. Dinner and overnights Mikumi wildlife lodge Lodge.

Day 6: Mikumi National Park -- Ruaha National Park.
After breakfast early in the morning from Mikumi park drive to Ruah national park which is 274 km with lunch boxes via Iringa town, you will be passing through the countryside and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. Upon arrival, you will visit the museum which holds the head of the great local chief Mkwawa who resisted the Germans in Iringa town, then drive to Ruah River camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ruaha National Park Fullday.
After breakfast from the lodge enjoy a full day game drive with packed lunch provided, nice view of Ruah river valley, great animals sightings like Kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebra, lions, hippos, hartebeest, impala, antelope, giraffe, buffalo, and many of them overnight at Ruaha Safari camp.

Day 8: Fullday Ruaha National Park.
Another full-day game drives with packed lunch. Enjoy a half-day game drive and after lunch in the late afternoon, you will embark on a walking safari to enhance your sense and gate to know the spirit of the bush.

Lake Manze is located in the Selous Game Reserve, on the banks of Lake Manze, about an hour’s drive from Siwandu airstrip. The camp can also be accessed by road. The Lake Manze area is one of the richest game viewing locations in the Selous, both in the dry and wet season.
Accommodation
The camp consists of 12 tents spread out in the shade of natural vegetation, along the shores of the lake. The tents are “Meru style” canvas with double zip locking with mesh windows, spacious and furnished with twin or double beds. Each tent has private a verandah, an en suite bathroom behind it, with flush toilet and skylight shower with hot & cold water.

Day 1-3: Serena Selous Lodge

Selous Serena Camp is located on the eastern bank of Simbazi River, a tributary of the Rufiji River, in the southwest northern sector of the Selous Game Reserve, a 30minutes game drive away from Stiegler’s Gorge airstrip.

The camp comprises of 12 well appointed tents positioned under individually grass-thatched structures widely spaced amongst the indigenous forest with outstanding views over the surrounding bush. Each tent features a private sundeck, loungers, en suite bathroom with a Victorian bathtub, shower & WC, and is tastefully furnished with polished rosewood furniture, opulent rugs, crystal chandeliers, luxury double or twin beds with mosquito netting, Wifi .

This smoke-free lodge features a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and a bar/lounge. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Day 4-5: Vuma Hills Tented Camp.

Location
Vuma Hill Tented Camp is set on a hillside overlooking the seemingly endless wilderness on the south west of Mikumi National Park. It is about 300km from Dar es Salaam or 4 hours drive on tarmac road.
Accommodation
Vuma Hill has 16 spacious and comfortable guest tents on wooden platform with thatched roof complete with shaded wooden veranda at the front, and en suite bathroom facilities at the back with a shower, basin and toilet. The tents are mosquito proof, and furnished with a rather old fashioned colonial décor, with each tent featuring a double and a single bed. Electricity is provided by generator and there are lights and sockets (3 pin square 220 V) in each tent. The generator will run from 10am to 2pm and again from 6.30pm to 11pm. All water is solar heated.

Day 6-8: Ruaha River Lodge.

The Ruaha River Lodge is located about 30 minutes game drive away from the Msembe airstrip. The lodge sits proudly on the banks of the Ruaha river in southern Ruaha National Park.
Accommodation
The Ruaha River Lodge is the cheapest accommodation in Ruaha National Park, which actually offers a good value stay. The setting is exceptional, right on the banks of the Ruaha river and the backdrop with the rolling hills is great. The only drawback is that the lodge is quite big and isn’t and build out of brick and stone. But that aside, it offers a great location and exceptional value. We do believe that a little extra money to stay at Mdonya Old River Camp is worth the upgrade for a better all-round experience.

Day 6-8: Tandala tented Camp.

Location
Tandala Tented Camp is located just outside Ruaha National Park only 5km from the park main gate, and about 20km from Msembe airstrip, and less than 2 hours’ drive to Iringa town (100km).
Accommodation
Tandala Tented Camp has a total of 10 spacious, elevated, luxury tents offering a variety of twin or double bed arrangements; extra beds are available for children or a third person. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom at the back, enclosed in thatch and rockwork over viewing the bush. Hot showers are provided by gas or solar. At the front of each room is a sizable verandah with comfortable seating perfect for relaxing in private to watch out for game along the Mdweka sand river.
